Boolean value
Trigger an alarm when a true/false tag is in a given state.
A boolean value condition watches a true/false tag and triggers when it is (or isn’t) in a given state — for example a fault flag being true, or a “running” signal being false.
Settings
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Source tag | The boolean tag being watched. |
| Operator | equal to or not equal to — the only operators that apply to a true/false value. |
| Target | The state to compare against — a fixed true/false, or another boolean tag. |
How it triggers
The condition is met when the source tag equals (or does not equal) the target state. For instance, source equal to true alarms while a fault flag is set; source not equal to true alarms whenever it is not set.
Comparing against another tag lets you alarm when two boolean signals disagree — for example a command and its feedback.
