tagName

Build a readable display name from a tag's path in a page expression.

Returns a readable display name for a tag by stripping type suffixes, skipping leading segments, and reformatting delimiters.

tagName(tagPath: string, delimiter?: string, transformDelimiter?: string, pattern?: string, customDelimiter?: string, transformCustomDelimiter?: string, customPattern?: string): string;

Parameters

• tagPath — the tag path.
• delimiter — the delimiter used in the tag name (default "_").
• transformDelimiter — the delimiter to use in the output.
• pattern — the number of leading segments to skip (for example "1").
• customDelimiter, transformCustomDelimiter, customPattern — the same three, overridden for custom names.

Return value

The formatted tag name, for example "CS10-TS4".
